We’re working with a design-led structural and civil engineering consultancy-based Weybridge, looking to appoint a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer to join their close-knit team.
The consultancy operates more like a design studio than a corporate machine, 10 staff members, no red tape, and a portfolio that spans bespoke residential, heritage refurbishments, schools, retail and leisure, and occasional mixed-use schemes. Projects typically range up to £5 million, with affiliate involvement in developments up to £60-75 million.
This is a standout opportunity for an experienced engineer who values technical integrity, thrives in a hands-on environment, and still enjoys the craft of designing elegant structures.
You’ll be reporting directly to the directors, taking ownership of technical delivery while mentoring junior staff and contributing to client-facing work.

SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Chartered status (IStructE or equivalent)
• 5+ years’ experience in consultancy
• Proficiency in Tekla and TEDDS
• Strong design and calculation capability
• Confident communicator, client-facing experience essential
• A genuine interest in mentoring junior engineers
• Willing to travel to local sites (within 45 mins of the office)
