Rimkus is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Global Energy Services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering within the energy sector, with experience supporting a wide range of projects including oil and gas, pipelines, and renewable energy infrastructure. In this role, you will perform structural assessments, provide expert consulting, and contribute to forensic investigations. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and client stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions and ensure the safety, reliability, and integrity of energy-related structures worldwide. This position offers the opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a challenging and rewarding global environment while supporting critical infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Perform structural engineering assessments and evaluations for energy infrastructure and facilities. Support forensic investigations and failure analysis related to structural matters. Develop engineering calculations, reports, and technical documentation for clients and regulatory bodies. Collaborate with project teams, clients, and other engineering disciplines to develop practical solutions. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and staff. Ensure compliance with applicable engineering codes, standards, and best practices. Contribute to business development and client relationship management within the global energy market. Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or equivalent certification preferred. At least 8-12 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on the energy sector. Experience in structural assessments, design, and forensic engineering related to energy facilities. Strong knowledge of structural codes, standards, and materials relevant to energy infrastructure. Excellent technical writing, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment. Willingness to travel internationally as required to support global projects.
