The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to be responsible for the design, specification, and delivery of structural engineering services across various structures including commercial, industrial, data centre, and defence building projects. Your role will involve the design of structural systems and foundations constructed from concrete, steel, and other engineered materials, as well as buildings, retaining structures, and associated infrastructure. Who are you? As a Structural engineer you will be able to perform all conventional aspects of structural engineering. You will be able to evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptions and modifications. Other requirements are: Experience in the practice of the discipline of structural engineering in a consulting and project environment. Background in design of commercial, industrial, data centre, and/or defence buildings Ability to prepare and check design calculations using either manual methods or with the aid of computer applications such as Space Gass, RAPT, RAM Concept and ETABs. Ability to prepare and independently check structural calculations, technical reports, and specifications Competence in delivering work according to budget, schedule and quality requirements Ability to liaise with peers, subordinates, clients, suppliers, statutory authorities and other consultants Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering or an equivalent as well as CPEng registration (or the ability to obtain) Full Australian working rights and ability to obtain baseline clearance Who are we?
