• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• English spoken fluently
• Keen attention to detail and unwavering precision in drafting
• Minimum 5 years of experience as structure engineer
• Proficient computer skills: Auto Cad, Sketchup 2D and 3D, and basic administration programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Ability to flourish in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Structural Engineer & Site/QA Operations, He will be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and safety of a construction project. You will be responsible for the planning stage to implementation in the field. Ensure the quality of the site installations is consistent with the company’s policy requirements together with the standards and specifications. Supervises and coordinates construction activities at the work site. He ensures that structural work is completed on time. He ensures that work is done safely and with quality as per the structure drawing. He ensures that all regulations are complied with. He works in all weather conditions and must have good team management and decision-making skills. He must maintain good stakeholder relationships to ensure smooth progress of the project. He must wear safety equipment when working at the construction site.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement the QA/QC management system on site.
• Carry out regular inspections of construction work to ensure it complies with design drawings and specifications.
• Prepare inspection results reports and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Identify potential structural risks and develop mitigation measures.
• Ensure construction work runs according to schedule and budget.
• Overcoming technical problems that arise in the field.
• Coordinate amongst various stakeholders at the worksite to ensure work alignment.
• Enforce all safety regulations on site to ensure works are performed safely.
• Inspect structure construction works to ensure compliance with requirements and regulations.
• Inspect structure raw materials that are delivered on site to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Procure construction materials at the right time to ensure work is not hampered by materials shortage.
• Supervise and control workmen to ensure that work is performed safely and on time.
• Work hand in hand with the management of Karma Development and structure consultant.
• Review and enhance structure drawings as required, accommodating design iterations and refinements.
• Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development.
