We’re currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Adelaide Water team, with the opportunity to work on some of the country’s most significant water infrastructure programs. You’ll be part of a close‑knit, nationally integrated team, contributing to complex water and wastewater projects that make a tangible difference to the environment, the economy, and local communities. What You’ll Do At Professional to Senior level, you’ll play a key role in the delivery of high‑quality structural design solutions across major water infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include: * Leading the structural design of water retaining structures, water and wastewater assets, including pump stations, pipelines, and treatment facilities * Ensuring technical excellence from concept design through to detailed delivery * Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across Australia to share knowledge and drive best practice * Managing design packages or leading discrete project components * Mentoring and supporting junior engineers in their technical and professional development * Contributing to proposals and bids, with a focus on innovative and client‑focused solutions   About You You’re a technically capable and collaborative engineer with experience delivering complex water infrastructure projects. You’ll ideally bring: * A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent) * Strong hands‑on design experience, ideally within a consulting environment * Proven experience in water infrastructure, particularly water‑retaining structures * Familiarity with Civil3D, WSAA codes, and relevant Australian Standards * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, high‑quality technical reports * A proactive, problem‑solving mindset * Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) is highly regarded   Why Choose WSP?
