Coulson Aviation is a global aerial firefighting company that supports Emergency Service efforts through the delivery of specialized aircraft and highly trained team members.
Coulson Aviation operates across the world with a growing fleet of aerial firefighting assets consisting of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. With our privately owned and operated fleet of Boeing 737 FIRELINERS, Hercules C130, Citation and King Air, CH47D Chinooks, and Sikorsky S-61 fire support platforms, we provide first class, rapid response delivery during critical events of wildfire activity.
Due to the company’s continued growth, we are looking to add a Senior Structures Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Team Leader to our team.

How you’ll contribute to the mission;

  • Conduct morning toolbox meetings to ensure the team is prepared for the day, laying out plans and delegating tasks as needed
  • Liaise with management to ensure projects are planned and executed as scheduled, anticipating potential issues, and preparing accordingly
  • Ensure staff and other resources are available as needed, so the schedule is not compromised
  • Order parts and consumables as required
  • Identify areas where staff training may be necessary and prepare recommendations to upper management
  • Ensure work sheets, logs, tracking updates and other required records are complete and submitted in a timely manner
  • Oversee and manage staff attendance
  • Participate in performance evaluations
  • Work alongside the crew to perform sheet metal and composite repairs
  • Other related tasks as needed

What you bring to the Team;

  • AME (S) license, however all levels of experience will be considered
  • Previous Supervisory experience
  • A passion to help others
  • The ability to travel outside of Canada
  • Effective and respectful communication with all levels of staff
  • The ability to inspire and lead others

Compensation for this position will be competitive with market rates and based on experience.
