POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the general direction of the VP of Student Affairs, the Student Affairs Specialist will work with students, faculty, staff, and alumni to develop, implement, and evaluate programs that support the student co-curricular experience, including alumni relations, career services, student conduct/student issue resolution, wellness initiatives, and other services. These programs will positively impact traditional and non-traditional, campus-based, and online/distance learners in a matrix structure and will advance recruitment, learning outcomes, assessment, student engagement, student persistence, alumni career attainment, alumni engagement, and ongoing accreditation/regulatory needs. S/he will use technology, data analytics, and engagement metrics to measure success.
Salary range: $68,640 commensurate with experience, skills and education.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience: Five to eight (5-8) years of demonstrated knowledge of student affairs/student services and higher education.
Certifications, Licenses, etc.: None.
SKILLS:
PRIMARY WORK LOCATION & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Work Location: Remote Travel: 25% (campus locations once a month).
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed for support of special events/special initiatives.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to execute those physical activities required to perform the essential functions including, but not limited to, regular sitting and being mobile; continual communicating both in person and on the telephone/video chat; regular keyboarding; regular reading of both print and digital material; and all other activities required to perform essential functions.
