ABOUT AGORA STUDENT CARE

Agora Student Care provides care and supervision to primary school-going children after school hours. We provide a safe and supportive environment, support students’ academic progress, as well as their social and emotional development. The curriculum includes homework supervision, online worksheets, guided research, and team sports.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or higher qualification. Diploma in Care and Programme (Student Services & Coaching) or WSQ Student Care Programme is an advantage
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant teaching experience
  • Ability to understand the primary school curricular content and supervise homework completion (accuracy and academic support are not expected, but minimum understanding is important)
  • Great communication and classroom management skills
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and energetic, with a positive mindset to learn and grow
Responsibilities

ROLE

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Student Care Teacher to join us as we look to build the future of student care at Agora Colearning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans for children in the student care.
  • Assisting in some centre operations (transport/morning routine/dismissal and arrival)
  • Mentoring other teachers in the student care.
  • Assessing children’s development and progress, and communicating this to parents and guardians.
  • Maintaining accurate records of attendance, activities, and progress of each child in the student care.
  • Collaborating with parents and guardians to ensure the needs of each child are being met.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised classroom environment.
  • Managing any behavioural issues or concerns that arise with children in the student care.
