REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7+ years of experience in a specified technical field, OR 4 years in emerging technology and 4 years in a related field.
• 8 years of analytical experience.
• BA/BS or MA/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong independent thinking and problem-solving abilities.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are supporting a Federal client in Washington, DC (20551) and are seeking an experienced Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide advanced technical leadership and innovative solutions to complex challenges. This role requires a strong background in technology and analytics, with expertise in either Information Technology systems or functional domains such as finance, logistics, or operations research.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide expert support, analysis, and research into exceptionally complex problems and processes.
• Serve as a technical expert on executive-level project teams, offering direction, interpretation, and alternatives.
• Apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts; contribute to the development of new principles and approaches.
• Work on unusually complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Operate under consultative direction to achieve long-term objectives.
• Initiate and drive assignments independently, determining the best course of action to deliver results.
• Develop advanced technological ideas and guide them through to final product implementation.
