REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical) preferred.
- Self-motivated, drives for improvement, strong communication skills.
- 3 – 10 years of experience in Supplier Quality Development
- 6 – 10 years of experience would be a plus in (Aluminum Castings, Iron Castings, Forgings, Electronics, Stampings, Power Metal, Fasteners, Injection Molding)
- 2 – 4 years of experience in Plant Operations
- Experience in Metallurgical/Metals background
- Proficient in problem solving (8D, 5-Why, Drill Deep and Wide, Shainan, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Manufacturing experience in molding, stamping, assembly, rubber extrusions, plating
- Proficient in AIAG core tools: PPAP, APQP, Control Plans, FMEA, MSA and SPC
- Proficient in Word / Excel / PowerPoint
- Understanding basic Industrial Engineering principles / Tools: VSM, Tak-Time, OEE, Maintenance KPI’s, Plant layout, Material Flow, Safety and HR.
- Understanding basic skill for production controls and logistics
- Customer specific requirements / certifications: VDA 6.3 & 6.5, BIQS, ANPQP, IATF

- Practice and maintain integrity while following Magna’s Charter and Constitution.

- Drive the development of new technologies to improve quality, efficiency and reduce cost.
