Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist in Seattle, WA (Renton, WA; Everett, WA) to work with our external supply base. This position will focus on supporting the BGS organization in the Western U.S.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

5 +years of experience in maintenance repair and overhaul and variety of regulatory environments (Ex. FAA, EASA, CAA, JCAB and other NAA)
5+ years of experience with AS9100 and/or AS9110 Standards
5+ years of experience in auditing principles, preferably in the aircraft/aerospace industry
5+ years of experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills
5+ years of experience performing product, process or compliance audits of Quality Management Systems
5+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license is preferred
Experience with production (PC700) supplier quality requirements
Certifications including ASQ or a Quality System Lead Auditor is preferred
Regulatory understanding of FAA and other NAA aviation regulations
Ability to apply risk management techniques to complex issues
Strong analytical skills

Responsibilities

Experience with supplier quality requirements in AS9100, AS9110 and FAA 145 environments
Perform supplier quality and surveillance audits to ensure that suppliers’ products and services and quality systems meet purchase contract requirements, applicable Boeing requirements and regulatory agency and government regulations
Manage suppliers that support aftermarket services and programs in both commercial and military environments
Develop and execute business plans, conduct quality requirements reviews, requirements consumption reviews and quality improvement plans all to improve supplier performance.
Provide education and coaching on the Quality System to internal and external stakeholders
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and supply base
