Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supply Base Management Specialist (Level 4) to join the Apache Supply Chain Business team in Mesa, Arizona.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• More than 5 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
• More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
• More than 5 years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• More than 5 years of experience using the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

• Serves as the primary liaison between Apache production and the supply chain, ensuring timely availability of parts and materials
• Closely monitors inventory levels and identifying potential shortages, while implementing effective shortage mitigation strategies
• Collaborates with Supply Chain contracting teams and Supply Chain Analysts to enhance delivery performance and resolve any supply-related issues that may impact production schedules
• Analyses supply chain data to forecast demand and optimize inventory management
• Uses strong communication and problem-solving skills for fostering relationships with internal teams to support seamless production operations
