Our Production Department is responsible for the operations behind the online used-car-buying-experience for private customers - from decision of repair scope and evaluation of car condition, repairs of a vehicle to collecting all data points needed to advertise the car online. We focus on speed, quality, and efficiency while always applying a data-driven approach.. Support us as Senior Supply Chain Manager in Production by constantly questioning the status quo and demonstrating your negotiating skills and supply chain knowledge.
As part of the Business Development team at our headquarters in Berlin you work closely with all Production management teams in Europe and our Director Production Europe to bring our supply chain for Production to the next level.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Proven experience in the area of procurement from a start-up, a management consultancy, a dynamic, fast-growing company or from the automotive sector with 5+ years of experience in procurement/supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication and contract negotiations skills.
  • Strong hands-on experience building procurement processes.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to draw conclusions from data.
  • You are pragmatic, solution-oriented, highly organised and can work independently as well as in a team.
  • Fluent English skills are a must, German would be a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier relationships to maximize value.
  • Analyze supplier data, products, lead times, and pricing to identify optimization potential.
  • Identify and integrate new top suppliers to to build a superior supplier network serving all production centers in Europe.
  • Develop and execute a European roadmap for costs savings and other supplier network improvements.
  • Oversee and lead the improvement of all direct and indirect procurement processes with the Production department including system implementation, ongoing analysis, budgeting, and cross-border benchmarking.
  • Manage cross-functional, data-driven projects and collaborate with stakeholders including top management.
