As our new Senior Logistics Business Development Manager, you will work proactively and make the next step forward with us. We are seeking a colleague who will work with a great team of dynamic, innovative, and motivated people in our headquarters in Berlin.

Job Description

  • Own the negotiation, execution, and management of contracts with suppliers, landlords, and partners, aligning them with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead the entire tendering process for new logistics solutions, from preparing tender documents to evaluating proposals.
  • Oversee the logistics administration system, ensuring efficient management of information and processes.
  • Contribute to achieving P&L targets by managing costs and providing detailed reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, and develop expertise in your areas of responsibility.
  • Manage cross-functional, data-driven projects with the aim of exceeding expectations and driving business improvements.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving service quality within the logistics network.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field, and 6+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in parcel logistics, automotive logistics, finished vehicle logistics, transportation, real estate, or network design is a plus.
  • We are looking for someone with a passion for moving projects forward, taking full ownership, and inspiring teams to drive results.
  • You must have the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and stay within budget.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights are required.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage external partners independently are a must.
  • Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in other European languages is an advantage.
  • Industry knowledge and an established network within automotive logistics or the delivery space is a plus.
  • Remote work can be considered for the right candidate.
