Senior Procurement Manager – MEH Supply Chain | SZC Project
Location: Bristol | Full-Time | Competitive Salary + Benefits
Are you ready to lead procurement strategies that drive real value in one of the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure projects? We’re looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to join the MEH (Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC) Supply Chain team supporting the SZC (Sizewell C) Project.
Purpose of the Role
To deliver measurable value to SZC and MEH through strategic, effective procurement of services and equipment, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.

What you’ll be doing

  • Shape and refine SZC’s Acquisition Plan for MEH services and equipment.
  • Lead procurement strategy development and execution.
  • Manage the full ITT (Invitation to Tender) process across diverse categories.
  • Develop long-term contracting strategies and supplier performance metrics.
  • Drive supplier quality improvement, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate across Supply Chain teams to monitor and enhance supplier performance.
  • Identify and mitigate supply market risks.
  • Communicate market developments and procurement insights effectively.
  • Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing procurement team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree and/or relevant professional qualification in Procurement or Supply Chain.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement and contract management processes.
  • Proven ability to mentor, lead teams, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with company directives, standards, and procedures.
