Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Senior Supply Chain Manager (Level M) to join our Supply Chain Functional Excellence Organization in Everett, WA.
The Supply Chain Senior Manager will directly manage Supplier Management and Procurement employees and managers in an integrated product team environment and have interfacing relationships with cross functional organizations.
This position will discover new opportunities and solutions for business problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes and efficiencies to elevate the BCA Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

Manages employees and managers from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to committing company resources to purchase goods and services, developing supplier strategies, development of bid packages, proposal analysis, and development of contracts

  • .Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
  • .Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • .Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • .Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • .Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, processes and related tools
  • .Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers
