WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a commercially minded & relationship focused supply chain professional who is confident with data and can utilize this alongside a continuous improvement mindset. Career to date you will have had direct responsibility for Supply Chain & Inventory Planning whilst knowledge of Procurement / Contract processes being beneficial but not must have. Alongside this you will have good ERP / MRP systems experience with SAP knowledge being beneficial. You will possess good interpersonal skills with ability to build productive relationships with colleagues / suppliers and have a driven mindset with ability to work effectively to project timescales.

Responsibilities

Reporting into the Head of Supply Chain, you will join an well-structured team in a new role that will focus on a key supplier project to improve OTIF performance with strategic business objectives that are closely aligned to manufacturing schedules over the coming years. Key duties include-

  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and where needed provide solutions to supply chain/logistics challenges that ensure contractual obligations can be fulfilled
  • Build strong and effective relationships with supply chain partners, internal colleagues and support our relationships principal suppliers
  • To focus on operational performance management of the key supply chain partners using a structured and data-driven approach
  • To actively manage and respond to live supply chain operational requirements, taking ownership to both help with and resolve issues that arise.
  • Working with the Group procurement team to maintain purchase orders in line with latest BOM and ensure inventory is at optimum levels
