Senior Supply Chain Specialist As a Senior Supply Chain Specialist, your primary responsibility will be managing efficient and reliable supply chain operations for our customer deliveries, purchase of contract manufactured product and components, establish strong business relationships with our suppliers, and handling import & export compliance as well as shipment tracking with our logistics partners. Your expertise in supply chain management either from pharmaceutical or hardware manufacturing or similar regulated industry and your ability to build and nurture relationships with suppliers and logistics partners will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain. This is what you would be working with: · Global transportation: Oversee inbound shipments (contract manufactured product and components) and outbound customer shipments, including freight spend, carrier management, and customs clearance. Coordinating delivery timelines with logistics partners and providing Customer Service team with updates. Ensuring compliance with international pharmaceutical shipping regulations and global trade compliance, including import/export documentation and duties. Inventory Management & Purchasing: Manage effective inventory replenishment system and procedures to optimize inventory levelsoptimizing shelf life and minimizing excess inventory. Collaborate with commercial & manufacturing teams to forecast demand, plan & place replenishment orders, coordinate inspection of incoming goods and manage stock levels to meet customer deliveries and production requirements. Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing, and terms to secure the best quality and cost-effective supply. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for new contract manufactured products and components. Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement proactive measures to address risks and ensure business continuity. · Continuous Improvement: Implement and track key performance indicators for supply chain operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain, identifying areas for optimization and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline processes. What will you need to be successful in this role? Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field. Being comfortable on a hands-on role. Experience on a domain ownership is a plus. Strong knowledge of sourcing & supply chain best practices, and trade compliance requirements. Experience in building and managing relationships with suppliers and logistics partners. Independent mindset, ability to navigate between shifting job content and grow with the company.
