JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in a care home setting, particularly focusing on senior care. This position requires a proactive approach to assisting residents with their daily activities while promoting independence and dignity.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a Residential children’s care home or similar setting is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in senior care, showcasing empathy and understanding of the needs of older adults.
  • Supervising experience is advantageous, with an ability to lead by example and motivate others.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred to assist with transportation needs when necessary.
  • Familiarity with creating and managing care plans is beneficial, along with a willingness to learn new IT systems relevant to the role.
