Location: Solihull, UK Salary: £25,300 – £26,800 per annum Additional Pay: £60 per sleep-in Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent About the Role We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team supporting children and young people with complex mental health needs, attachment difficulties, and challenging behaviours. You will play a key role in providing high-quality care, supporting daily routines, and leading staff during shifts to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the young people in our residential service. Tasks Support children and young people with emotional, physical, and behavioural needs. Lead and supervise staff on shift, ensuring high standards of care. Implement behaviour management strategies safely and consistently. Promote education, independent living skills, and positive routines. Support with care planning, risk assessments, and incident reporting. Requirements Level 3 Health & Social Care – Children and Young People (or equivalent) – Essential Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children and young people in a residential setting. Experience supporting individuals with complex mental health, attachment needs, and challenging behaviour (verbal & physical). Full UK Manual Driving Licence – Essential Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply). Must have the Right to Work in the UK. No sponsorship available Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.
