As a Senior Support Worker, your duties would fall under the following areas:

• Coaching and mentoring front line staff, providing support and regular supervision.
• Identifying the training needs of your team and ensuring that training is provided.
• Creating the monthly rota for your team, managing holiday cover and absence.
• Developing your team’s ability to create accurate and effective support plans.
• On-call responsibilities with support of senior managers 24/7
• Planning and facilitating meetings with individuals and important people in their lives to gather information for support plans.
• Collaborating with external agencies, such as individuals’ families or Social Work Services.
• Ensuring compliance with standards set by the SSSC, Care Inspectorate, and Quarriers.
• Representing Quarriers’ values positively when working with multi-agency teams
