THE ROLE

As a Team Leader, you will combine hands-on support with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high standards of care and stability for the young person while guiding and supervising your team.
Salary: £33,731 per year plus £50 per sleep-in shift (approx 1 per week)
Shift Pattern: 1 on, 2 off – great for work-life balance
Shift Times: 07:30 – 22:30 (with sleep-ins as required)
Annual Leave: 240 hours (30 days)
Location: Clacton-on-Sea

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to your team of Support Workers
• Support one young person with daily routines, education, and activities
• Build trust, resilience, and independence through consistent care
• Act as a positive role model and help the young person develop life skills
• Ensure care plans, safeguarding, and regulatory standards are consistently met
• Contribute to the home’s development and positive outcomes through teamwork and strong leadership
