OUR PURPOSE

At United for Care, we create safe, supportive homes in our Vertical Villages and tailored accommodation. Our 24-hour support empowers participants to live independently and choose their lifestyle. We build thriving communities where people belong and flourish.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced and committed Senior Disability Support Worker to join our team full-time in Liverpool. This Vertical Village supports participants with high physical and complex clinical needs.
You’ll provide hands-on support while guiding a team of support workers across shifts. Your leadership will ensure safe, consistent, and person-centred care every day. A nursing qualification is highly desirable for this site due to the level of clinical complexity.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Provide daily living support: personal care, manual handling, medication, PEG feeding, and mobility
  • Manage high-risk clinical care needs: seizure management, bowel care, midazolam, hoisting, wound care
  • Support participants using trauma-informed and positive behaviour practices
  • Work closely with allied health, behaviour support practitioners, and families
  • Lead by example and coach support workers on shift
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS standards, care plans, and restrictive practice requirements
  • Help onboard new team members and foster a strong team culture
  • Keep accurate shift notes, incident reports, and clinical documentation
