Your Impact: Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll be instrumental in:

  • Providing comprehensive care and support to individuals with autism and complex needs.
  • Observing, monitoring, and meticulously documenting residents’ progress with utmost care and dignity.
  • Actively encouraging and assisting residents in developing vital independent living skills.
  • Collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support.

What We’re Looking For:

To thrive in this vital role, your Level 3 in Residential Childcare is absolutely paramount, alongside:

  • Essential Qualification: A Level 3 in Residential Childcare is NOT just desirable, it is ESSENTIAL. Candidates without this qualification will not be considered. This is the cornerstone of your ability to excel in this role.
  • Driven by Purpose: A strong desire to create genuinely positive outcomes for children and young adults with learning disabilities.
  • Your Approach: An empathetic, caring, and resilient nature.
  • Experience: At least 6 months of experience in a UK social care setting.
  • Checks & Compliance: An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) and the right to work in the UK.
  • Mobility: A valid driving license and access to a car are essential due to our rural location.
