JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join the Supportability Engineering Section.
As a FSE, you will need to have a sound Engineering background covering Electronics, Hardware, Software, & Safety. Also, you will act as the engineering interface between Design Engineers and the customer/external Stakeholders.
1) Field Service Engineer (FSE)
FSEs are Engineers who have all the relevant skills and experience to support specific off-site project requirements; they have the ability to travel and work at customers / partners premises. FSEs will also troubleshoot complex electronic and mechanical hardware.
2) Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). You will be able to provide evidence of progressive assurance by developing and creating a Supportability Case. The successful applicant will have a practical experience of calculating maintainability requirements for lower level equipment in a design. You will have practical experience of calculating reliability requirements for lower level equipment in our designs. You will furthermore have practical experience of calculating testability requirements for lower level equipment in our designs
3). Training. We are looking for engineers who have a working knowledge of how to identify the core technical and academic skills needed by the customer in order to effectively operate or maintain our products. Candidateswill have a working knowledge of the principles and process used in the systems approach to training and have a working knowledge of how to use training techniques and resources to deliver a training objective or task. You will also have a working knowledge of learning styles, training techniques and assessment methods that can be used effectively in training scenarios.
4) Publications. We are looking for Engineers who can analyse, define and create technical publications to military specifications. The successful applicant will define the format and structure to be used in the generation of technical publications and provisioning documentation to meet customer requirements.
