As a Senior Surety Underwriter - Contract Surety, you’ll underwrite contract surety bonds within your authority or make recommendations to leadership to ensure our profitability and performance remain top-tier. You’ll travel regularly throughout your assigned territory to meet with agency partners, attend industry events, and build strong, lasting relationships that drive success. Collaboration is key in this role—you’ll work closely with agents and internal teams to provide excellent underwriting services, while staying ahead of regional economic shifts, legal changes, and competitor activity. You’ll also play a part in mentoring Associate Underwriters and Underwriting Assistants to help grow their expertise and enhance team performance.
