• Salary $125,693 - $138,510 p.a. plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Deliver and develop state-wide sustainability programs for School Infrastructure that are compliant with organisational and legislative requirements
• Develop, implement and promote sustainable design, construction, and operation, using tools such as Green Star and NABERS.
• Manage the project lifecycle of sustainability projects and initiatives from business case to implementation, including procurement of external consultants and the management of contract finances and variations.
• Prepare and provide input into the preparation of reports, submissions, briefing notes, ministerial correspondence and learning materials on a range of sustainability issues as required

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or knowledge of the operational and strategic requirements for successful delivery of state-wide sustainability programs
• Current NSW driver’s licence
• Willingness and ability to travel to state-wide locations such as Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle and metropolitan school sites
• Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
