Your responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of IT systems for SME customers (also at external locations).
• You analyze, plan, implement and monitor network solutions for customers, including firewall configuration and VPN setup (focus on Watchguard firewalls, Netgear switches, UniFi switches and UniFi access points).
• You manage and maintain Windows, including updates, patches, and data backup.
• You implement and monitor security policies and data protection standards for customers.
• You will accompany IT projects from the presales phase to implementation and will also be available to our existing customers for technical questions.
• You identify and resolve IT problems for customers, both remotely and on-site.
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and system documentation
• You will support our sales team with your technical expertise.
• You develop new concepts for optimizing IT systems.

Who we are looking for:

Important prerequisites...

• You have completed IT-oriented vocational training (e.g., IT specialist in system integration (m/f/d)) or a comparable degree (e.g., computer science, business informatics, software engineering)
• You possess qualified professional experience (at least 5 years) in the aforementioned field of work, including project experience.
• You have in-depth knowledge of Windows Server and virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• You have an understanding of network topologies, routing and switching, firewall configuration and VPN.
• You bring in-depth knowledge of Microsoft on-premise and cloud solutions.
• You have the ability to analyze complex IT problems and develop solutions efficiently.
• You have good English skills, both spoken and written.
