We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in system administration, IT infrastructure, and systems engineering. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing complex systems to ensure optimal performance and security. The Senior Systems Administrator will work closely with cross-functional teams to support service-oriented architecture and develop innovative solutions that align with business objectives.

SKILLS

  • 5+ years of experience in system administration with a focus on Microsoft technologies
  • Proficient in system administration with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft server and Azure services, including VMs, AVD, Azure AD, and networking.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
  • Familiarity with Intune, Endpoint Manager, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities
  • Knowledge or Experience in Systems; Active Directory (AD), Server OS (Windows/Linux),
  • Administer and maintain Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, and storage.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
  • Manage the Azure platform using Nerdio orchestrator.
  • Architect and deploy M365 solutions, including Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and Power Platform applications, tailored to business requirements.
  • Design and implement solution architecture for various IT projects.
  • Ensure information security best practices are followed across all systems.
  • Conduct system design reviews and provide recommendations for improvements based on industry standards.
