OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in systems administration, with a strong focus on solution architecture and computer management. This role is crucial in ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our IT infrastructure. The Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing complex systems and applications, while also providing leadership and guidance to junior team members.

The consultant shall have experience in the following technical areas:

• InfiniBand technology
• Bacula Enterprise
• PowerShell
• Bash
• Python
• Database and website administration
• Operation maintenance of remote network, hardware, and software system

• The individual assigned to this role shall meet the following minimum requirements:
• Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related discipline and 4 years of relevant experience. Or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related discipline and 8 years of relevant experience. Or associate degree in computer science, Information Technology or related discipline and 10 years of relevant experience. Or 12 years of relevant experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with administering and maintaining high-performance complex computer networks and legacy computer systems and software with NQA-1 QA requirements such as those associated with the Department of Energy (DOE) and Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) projects.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE clearance

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
