Responsibilities
  • Working knowledge of Switching & Routing (Cisco based)
  • Working knowledge of Cisco Meraki
  • Working knowledge of cloud infra (MS Azure, MS Intune, Autopilot)
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, infrastructure hardware, operating systems, and applications.
  • Providing LAN and WAN support to the Network Engineers, desktop configurations, MS Office, Outlook configurations, and asset management.
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks, including remote desktop support and application troubleshooting.
  • Providing technical assistance to staff or clients, both in-person and over the phone, to set up systems or resolve issues.
  • Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing, and resolving hardware or software faults.
  • Supporting the roll-out of new applications and projects, including setting up new user accounts and managing password and access issues.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation related to the IT Department, such as vendor purchase orders, invoices, and asset management records.
  • Prioritizing and managing multiple open cases simultaneously, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with customers, users, and other professionals, including software developers.
  • Managing the inventory of equipment, consumables, and other supplies, maintaining an accurate IT assets list. #
  • Quarterly reconciliation of production assets vs asset database.
  • Tracking asset movement & Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies.(IT Assets List)
  • Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time.
  • Maintaining documentation related to IT Department (network diagrams, account specific application inventory, PRs, POs, invoices, asset allocation & release, asset tagging etc.)
  • Supporting the roll-out of new applications/ new projects setting up new users’ accounts and profiles and dealing with password and access issues
  • Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
  • Act as local PM for new deployments of hardware, applications etc.
  • Conduct & Coordinate UATs for new deployments & implementations
  • Manage & actively participate in internal & external audits (from an IT perspective)
  • Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
