Olympus Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior System Architect to design, develop, and oversee secure enterprise IT architectures supporting Federal Student Aid (FSA). The Senior System Architect will lead architecture design and DevOps infrastructure, with an emphasis on IAM solutions and AWS GovCloud environments. This role requires expertise in enterprise cloud strategies, IBM and Oracle products, and the design of scalable, secure, and agile IT systems integrated with mission-critical applications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 12+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• 7+ years of experience supporting IBM Products, Oracle Products, and Cloud-based Products.
• AWS Solutions Architect certification required.
• Training and certification in IBM products.
• Strong technical understanding of IAM, IT systems/services, and AWS GovCloud.
• Proven experience in secure agile architectures, system design, and enterprise integration.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile/scrum methodologies.
• Ability to perform complex technical tasks and resolve enterprise architecture challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have and maintain a Public Trust (Tier 4/6c) clearance.

• Analyze and optimize data models to ensure efficiency and alignment with customer requirements.
• Design and validate IT solutions that meet enterprise strategic business and technical objectives.
• Define application structure, determine appropriate technologies, and validate technical requirements and quality attributes.
• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise cloud architectures, with a focus on AWS GovCloud.
• Manage DevOps infrastructure supporting continuous integration and deployment.
• Develop and communicate architectural proposals for IT initiatives, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and cybersecurity requirements.
• Design and oversee infrastructure to deliver highly reliable and scalable database and system solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, developers, and business owners to establish application and data architecture standards.
• Evaluate and maintain current equipment, implement new system designs, and ensure performance tuning and efficiency improvements.
• Provide technical leadership for cloud-based solution design, ensuring security, scalability, and compliance with organizational goals.
• Support system implementations using secure agile methodologies, integrating enhancements and defect resolution into overall architectures.
• Lead planning and management of multiple concurrent projects with strict deadlines across large-scale, highly available systems.
