As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a Senior System Engineer (Active Directory) to join our Information Systems team at our Sydney HQ.

Your Role: As a Senior System Engineer at WiseTech Global, you will play a critical part in shaping and securing the infrastructure that underpins our global business. In this role, you won’t just maintain systems—you’ll innovate, optimize, and lead the development of next-generation Active Directory solutions that empower the world’s largest logistics companies. DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Extensive experience managing and administering Active Directory environments.
  • Proficiency with VMware virtualization, MS System Centre suite, and cloud technologies.
  • Strong scripting and programming skills (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
  • Familiarity with switching and routing protocols, and experience across multiple platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, implement, and manage Active Directory (AD) infrastructure.
  • Maintain and manage AD permissions, security, and access control.
  • Administer and troubleshoot AD-related issues and resolve escalated incidents.
  • Develop and maintain group policies (GPOs) to support secure and efficient IT operations.
  • Integrate AD with technologies such as DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Exchange, and public cloud platforms (e.g., Azure AD, AWS).
  • Manage, maintain and ensure disaster recovery processes are in place.
  • Provide technical support, training, and guidance to users and IT teams on AD functions and security best practices.
