Role Description We are looking for an experienced systems engineer. You will work with systems at the forefront of technology and contribute to the development of complex products where both software and hardware interact. About the assignment Developing and documenting system design with a focus on embedded software (C++) and FPGA development (VHDL). The role requires a good understanding of both software and hardware-related systems and involves close collaboration with development teams in several engineering disciplines. Contribute to systemization, architectural choices, design descriptions and technical considerations. Although coding is not a requirement in the role, it is a merit and occurs to a varying extent depending on the project. Experience in signal processing is seen as a plus. Requirements Senior Systems Engineer, Level 4 Experience of systems in embedded systems Knowledge of embedded software design (C++) Experience in FPGA development (VHDL) Good hardware understanding Very good ability to document design and technical solutions Code experience is not a requirement, but an advantage Experience in signal processing is an advantage Safety clearance/RC: Required before take-off Security & Terms If you proceed in the recruitment process, the position requires that you undergo and pass a security vetting in accordance with current protective security regulations.
