Role Summary Delivers day-to-day administration, patching and high-availability operations for the RHEL and VMware estate, including DR orchestration and failover testing for approximately 525-600* VMs across ~153 physical hosts.

Core Technical Skills

● RHEL 6.x/7.x/8.x administration and patch management

● VMware vSphere, vCenter, DRS, HA, vMotion administration

● SRM/DR orchestration and failover testing

● Storage/datastore management and capacity monitoring

● Scripting and automation (Bash, Ansible, Python)

● Firmware/BIOS upgrade coordination and hardware health monitoring Certifications Mandatory Preferred / Advantageous RHCSA (minimum) RHCE / Equivalent VMware VCP-DCV or equivalent hands-on VMware experience VMware VCAP-DCV Ansible Automation certification ITIL Foundation Key Responsibilities

● OS/virtualization administration, provisioning and patching

● HA/DRS/vMotion operations and cluster management

● DR orchestration and periodic failover testing

● Firmware/BIOS upgrades and hardware health monitoring
