About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior System Verification Engineer to take ownership of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments, test rigs, and verification infrastructure. The role combines technical responsibility for maintaining verification environments with coordination of test resources, inventory management, and support for verification activities. You will play a key role in ensuring that test environments remain stable, up-to-date, and ready to support efficient system verification and validation activities. Key Responsibilities Maintain and support HIL rigs, system rigs, and subsystem test environments. Ensure rigs are configured with the correct software baselines and required hardware/software components. Manage verification infrastructure and test equipment inventory. Track inventory usage, stock levels, replenishment needs, and equipment availability. Coordinate storage, labeling, and lifecycle management of test assets. Support verification and validation activities when required. Organize recurring meetings to gather future rig requirements and improvement needs. Troubleshoot and resolve rig-related and infrastructure-related issues. Maintain documentation, configuration records, and status reporting for rigs and inventory. Collaborate closely with verification engineers, developers, and other stakeholders. Provide regular status updates, resource planning input, and risk assessments to project management. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the verification organization. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in system verification, HIL engineering, test infrastructure, or related areas. Experience maintaining and supporting HIL rigs, test benches, or laboratory environments. Strong understanding of software baselines, hardware configurations, and verification infrastructure. Experience with test equipment, networking components, routers, media converters, and engineering tools. Strong organizational and inventory management capabilities. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Fluent English, written and spoken. Meritorious Skills Experience within automotive embedded systems. Hands-on verification and test execution experience. Experience with configuration management and version control of test environments. Familiarity with CAN, Ethernet, diagnostics, or automotive communication protocols.
