REQUIRED TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

  • Relevant industry certifications are highly preferred and demonstrate expertise in key areas such as:
  • Network: Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+
  • Server/Virtualization: Microsoft Certified (e.g., MCSE, Azure Administrator Associate)
  • Cybersecurity: CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • IT Service Management: ITIL Foundation or higher
  • Project Management: Project Management Professional (PMP)

Responsibilities
  • Architect and manage the complete network and systems infrastructure, including directory services, LAN/WAN, wireless, and email. This includes designing new solutions, implementing them, and optimizing existing systems for performance and reliability.
  • Oversee all system upgrades and patches, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum security. Develop and implement a robust patching and maintenance schedule.
  • Researches and assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to network hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security, and backup.
  • Develop and enforce strict security protocols for user access and permissions. Audit user directories and security settings regularly to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Serve as a technical authority and mentor to the Information Systems staff, creating and communicating best practices for network use, operations, and data security.
  • Collaborate directly with the IS Director to develop strategic information system roadmaps. Take the lead on evaluating and recommending new technologies to drive efficiency and innovation
