As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support, maintain, and optimize our expanding IT infrastructure. This is a hands-on technical role for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a structured environment and understands the importance of system reliability—even if that means working outside of standard hours , on call or traveling occasionally to remote locations.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Systems Administrator will take a leading role in the ownership of AutoShack’s core IT infrastructure, ensuring availability, security, and performance across on-premise and cloud systems. The role requires a technically adept and organized professional who understands uptime as a business-critical priority and is comfortable with occasional travel to retail locationsas needed.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

EXPERIENCE

  • 7+ years in system administration in a hybrid or enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with the following technologies:
    o : Routers, switches, firewall with certification and work experience.
    o : Windows Server & Hyper-V clustering work experience. An understanding of how quorum works.
    o L1\L2 experience
    o : Comfortable with pen testing
    o : MS365, Azure, or AWS/ Google. Power Automate experience.
    o DNS & DHCP.
    o Experience in a hybrid AD environment (Cloud & local AD)
    o Comfortable with Wireshark to troubleshoot blocked access.

o Any ERP experience.

  • Familiarity with off-hours patching, on-call response, and travel to satellite or remote sites.
  • Solid background in cloud administration (especially Azure), cybersecurity, and disaster recovery planning.

SKILLS

  • Hands-on technical ownership of systems.
  • Organized and structured in work execution and documentation.
  • Flexible availability, including readiness for off-hours work, On-Call and occasional travel.
  • Strong diagnostic, analytical, and root-cause resolution skills.
  • Effective communicator, able to collaborate across teams and vendors.
