We’re seeking a dynamic and growth-minded talent to join us in the role of Senior Systems Administrator to lead and evolve hybrid infrastructure with a focus on Google Workspace, Azure AD, and enterprise SaaS platforms. You’ll play a key role in our team, collaborating closely with other incredible and talented individuals. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Meraki network solutions (switching, firewalls, wireless).
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, GCP, or AWS.
  • Familiarity with security/compliance best practices (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Prior experience supporting or deploying Neat video conferencing hardware.
  • Exposure to modern ITSM platforms such as Jira Service Management or ServiceNow (optional).
    When considering experience for this role, we typically find a great fit with candidates who have a minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in the specified field. Additionally, experience in a holding company and/or in a start-up environment is a definite plus.
Responsibilities

As a Senior Systems Administrator on our IT team at Momentum, your days will be dynamic and filled with opportunities to contribute to our mission. Here’s a glimpse into what your overall responsibilities might look like:

  • Lead and evolve hybrid infrastructure with a focus on Google Workspace, Azure AD, and enterprise SaaS platforms.
  • Administer Google Workspace, with expertise in email systems, security settings, policy enforcement, and Google Directory Services (user lifecycle, groups, org units).
  • Own identity and access management using Azure AD (Entra ID), including SSO, MFA, conditional access, and integration with other platforms.
  • Automate system processes and administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages.
  • Manage some network infrastructure, including vendor-managed platforms, configurations, performance monitoring, and segmentation.
  • Oversee user provisioning, access, and platform integrations for tools such as Slack, Zoom, and others.
  • Work collaboratively with security, engineering, and compliance teams to maintain adherence to standards such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
  • Take ownership of cross-functional IT initiatives, leading architecture, implementation, and optimization efforts.
  • Produce thorough documentation for systems, automations, and IT operations to support long-term maintainability and transparency.
