ABOUT US

We are North America’s leading retail photography company, creating secure, inclusive, and empowering photoshoot experiences for women. As we expand across Canada and the USA, we’re transforming our technology to support rapid scale. This role is central to building a secure, reliable, and future-ready IT foundation for a high-growth, mission-driven organization.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to lead security, reliability, and scalability across NUOVO’s technology ecosystem. You’ll manage endpoints, multi-site UniFi networks, identity systems, and core SaaS platforms. Partnering closely with IT leadership, you’ll design and implement repeatable, modern deployment standards—ensuring our infrastructure supports the pace of our growth and the creativity of our teams.
Core platforms: Google Workspace, Jamf Pro, UniFi (Network/Protect/Access), JumpCloud
SaaS ecosystem: Brex, Slack, Monday.com, Rippling, Salesforce, Box

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years in systems/network administration across Apple and Windows environments.
  • Strong Jamf Pro and macOS/iOS management experience; proven track record in endpoint protection.
  • Solid UniFi networking skills.
  • Google Workspace administration expertise.
  • Familiarity with IoT environments and protocols such as Thread and Matter.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, Zsh, or Python.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Eligible to work in Canada.
Don’t meet every requirement? Apply anyway. At Nuovo, we know skills can be learned, and we value passion, adaptability, and a growth mindset as much as direct experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Jamf, Ubiquiti, or other relevant certification(s)
  • Experience administering Box, Slack, Salesforce, Monday.com, and Brex.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures, including familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, or equivalent
  • Interest or experience in photography
  • Fluency in French is an asset
Responsibilities
  • Administer Google Workspace and SSO/SCIM; streamline onboarding, offboarding, and access management.
  • Administer Jamf Pro end-to-end, upholding compliance and standardizing device configurations.
  • Drive endpoint security across Apple and Windows: Jamf Protect, MFA, encryption, patching, access controls, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Co-design, configure, and maintain UniFi networks: gateways, switches, APs, VLANs, VPN, firewall.
  • Act as L2/L3 escalation for complex technical issues, performing root-cause analysis and delivering lasting solutions.
  • Collaborate on standardized networking deployments—ship repeatable network templates for IoT-enabled studios plus backups and DR.
  • Administer core SaaS platforms to ensure security, efficiency, and alignment with operational needs.
  • Maintain clear visibility into systems through monitoring, asset tracking, and up-to-date documentation.
  • Standardize infrastructure across locations for reliability, efficiency, and cost control.
