As a Senior Systems Administrator you’ll manage and support Microsoft-based systems across on-premises and cloud environments, oversee incident resolution and root cause analysis, and lead project-based initiatives that drive infrastructure improvement. You’ll play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining client cloud environment, leveraging your expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Defender for Endpoint, while documenting best practices and creating runbooks to strengthen operational consistency. Responsibilities: Provide ongoing support and mentorship to junior staff and peers. Manage incident and problem resolution, including root cause analysis. Handle hardware and software troubleshooting, end-user support, and ticket handling. Manage and implement assigned project-based solutions, communicating progress to stakeholders. Develop and maintain knowledge base articles and run books. Assist in planning, installation, and support of client cloud systems infrastructure. Support on-premises hardware and software and cloud-based devices and related software. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to client infrastructure. Participate in on-call, after-hours, and weekend support as needed. Requirements 7+ years of experience administering Microsoft Microsoft-based solutions and products: Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Teams, Exchange Online, Windows Server, Active Directory, etc. U.S. Citizen (Federal client requirement). Bachelor’s degree in information technology/security, Computer (Information) Science, Management Information Systems, or related discipline. Or 10+ years of demonstrated experience in systems administration with a focus on Microsoft and Cloud Technologies. Preferred certifications: MCP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty. Familiarity with industry best practices and standards (ITIL, ISO 20000-1, CMMI-SVCs) a plus. The salary range for this position is $90,000 -$110,000/year.The base salary range for this position is an estimate and may vary depending on relevant factors, including but not limited to education, experience, certifications, and skillset, as well as internal equity and business considerations.
