Location: This position is located at our Corporate Office in Salt Lake City, Utah. This is a fully on-site position.

SENIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

RC Willey is looking for a Systems Administrator to manage and support core IT infrastructure, including VMware, Microsoft Windows servers, and Microsoft 365. This role works closely with members of the IT team and the company’s employees to ensure secure, reliable systems, provide responsive support, and drive continuous improvements across the organization’s technology environment.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of experience with Microsoft Server administration and 4+ years with VMware (vCenter, templates, DRS, etc.).
  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Intune, SharePoint, Conditional Access).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows OS (Win 11/Server 2019–2025), Group Policy, PowerShell, endpoint security, and backup solutions (Veeam preferred).
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and remote desktop services.
  • Clear communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and constantly evolving environment.
  • Linux and macOS experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Administer and support core IT infrastructure including VMware environments, Windows servers/workstations, Microsoft 365 services, and related systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the IT environment, from user workstations to backend systems.
  • Implement and uphold ITSM and security best practices across all systems.
  • Collaborate with fellow IT team members to develop internal training processes, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain a high standard of user support and system reliability.
  • Provide responsive, customer-focused IT support while troubleshooting and resolving employee requests.
  • All other duties as assigned.
