JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to lead the configuration, sustainment, and performance optimization of enterprise development and production environments. This role ensures system availability, security compliance, and operational continuity through proactive administration, Agile collaboration, and continuous improvement practices. You’ll be part of a high-impact team supporting mission-critical logistics systems.
The Senior Systems Administrator will lead the sustainment and optimization of enterprise-scale development and production environments. This includes managing configurations, performing system patching and backups, and ensuring uptime and performance across mission-critical systems. The role involves close collaboration with cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and engineering teams to support Agile delivery cycles, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, and maintain compliance with security and operational standards.

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in enterprise systems administration, including Linux-based environments and Oracle infrastructure.
  • Active IAT/IAM Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, CCNA Security).
  • Demonstrated experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Exadata, and ZFS storage systems.
  • Proficiency in system patching, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with DoD STIGs, RMF compliance, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience supporting Agile sustainment workflows and DevSecOps pipelines. Leadership experience managing teams and driving technical outcomes.
