REQUIRED EXPERIENCE IN YEARS:

Seven (7) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing, six of which are specialized in numerous specialized Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions, four of which are concentrated, hand-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Candidates with prior experience supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) or other Department of Defense (DoD) logistics operations are strongly preferred.
  • Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with one or more of the following systems: Virtual Item Manager (VIM), VIM-ASAP, Integrated Retail Module (IRM), and the Asset and Visibility System (AAVS). Familiarity with the end-to-end supply chain processes, inventory management, requisition processing, and vendor integration functions supported by these applications is highly desirable.
  • Experience working within DLA’s Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) environment and a strong understanding of military clothing distribution workflows, MILSTRIP/MILSTRAP transactions, and RFID-enabled logistics solutions will be considered a significant asset.
