THE ROLE:

Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Systems Developer to join our IT Services team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to enhance and support our core business applications, system integrations, and APIs.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

As a key member of the Business Systems Development team, you will:

• Provide timely troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution of system incidents and requests.
• Develop, enhance, and integrate business applications and digital processes.
• Ensure the availability, integrity, and security of core business systems through regular maintenance and patching.
• Maintain accurate system documentation and follow change management procedures.
• Collaborate with IT teams, product owners, and vendors to resolve issues and implement improvements.
• Proactively identify and recommend system enhancements based on best practices and emerging technologies.
