Description

Systems Engineer (El Segundo) * Duties * Provide technical expertise and systems integration support to ensure an optimal integrated GPS System design * Contribute to the overarching approach and processes for integrating, synchronizing, tracking and analyzing dependencies across programmatic and organizational boundaries * Develop engineering and data models and populate them with up-to-date information to enable automated integration analyses * Provide technical support for test activities that characterize system performance * Perform and present data analysis that drive decisions on government programs * Support GPS Enterprise Risk & Opportunities management * Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent technical discipline and nine (9) years of systems integration and systems engineering related or equivalent experience * Active Secret Clearance * Experience working across space, ground, and user segment organizations to coordinate and identify system requirements and key performance parameters to ensure end-to-end mission performance requirements are met * Experience with system architecture development * Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teams * Excellent analytical and organizational skills, specifically attention to detail * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Must be able to work well in multi-team setting, and willing to take on additional technical and administrative tasks/duties as needed * Desired * Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance * Space vehicle as well as other GPS related experience * Experience and familiarity working with DoD acquisition organizations
