JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Senior Systems Engineer you will apply engineering expertise across the full system life cycle, from concept development to deployment and sustainment. They provide technical leadership, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive system improvements through analysis and innovation. This role will require strong problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of systems engineering principles, and the ability to guide teams in implementing best practices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited institution and 15+ years of experience in System Engineering
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and Terraform.
  • Clearance Required: Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Responsibilities
  • Systems Engineering Execution: Perform and oversee engineering activities across multiple ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas, including stakeholder requirements, architectural design, integration, verification, validation, operation, and maintenance.
  • Project Management & Risk Assessment: Support project planning, assessment, decision management, risk mitigation, configuration control, and information management to ensure technical integrity and quality.
  • Enterprise Process Implementation: Assist in infrastructure management, lifecycle model development, quality assurance, and human resource coordination to align with organizational objectives.
  • Technical Analysis & Recommendations: Independently analyze project elements, assess technical alternatives, and provide recommendations for design enhancements and process improvements.
  • Agreement & Acquisition Support: Facilitate acquisition and supply processes, ensuring compliance with government standards and contractual obligation
