Responsibilities

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

As the Senior Systems Engineer, you will drive scenario development, requirements analysis, design overarching System and Sub-system level capabilities.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Resolve System and sub-system level requirements through decomposition and design, representing these in the Model Based Engineering (MBE) environment
  • Develop key interface definitions, representing these in the MBE Environment
  • Resolve design and solution Trade-Offs against System Requirements
  • Develop key AIR6500 technical documents and artefacts such as solution descriptions, trade studies and definition of requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Degree qualifications in a relevant Engineering Discipline or relevant industry experience
  • Significant knowledge and experience in the application of System Engineering, Integration and Verification on large complex systems
  • Well-developed knowledge in one or more of Command & Control, Command Support or Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance domains in a Defence context
  • Extensive experience with development of systems design for large complex systems
  • Strong understanding in the application of Model Based Engineering (MBE) principles
  • Well-developed knowledge and experience working within an Agile (Scrum) development project
  • An Australian NV-1 security clearance and ability to access/handle Export Controlled technology, data and informatio
