The Job Details are as follows: The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for performing Windows Server operating system configuration and management, as well as physical and virtual server hardware configuration and management. Within the area of specialization, this role will assist senior team members on large-scale projects for the infrastructure teams. The role requires the ability to interact effectively with multiple business units across the organization. Responsibilities/requirements: Endpoint Management Implement, configure, and maintain endpoint devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Support patching, security compliance, and operational readiness for all endpoint devices. Assist with deployment, maintenance, and operational support of enterprise printing and automation services. Server and Infrastructure Management Perform day-to-day operational support, monitoring, and troubleshooting for Windows servers, automation servers, and containerized workloads. Plan, coordinate, and execute patching, vulnerability management, and system updates to ensure availability, performance, and security. Perform system performance monitoring, capacity planning, and resource optimization for servers and automation environments. Participate in infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, new system deployments. Identity and Access Management Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and role-based access management. Support auditing and reporting activities to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. Participate in identity lifecycle management initiatives and access reviews. Automation Use scripting and automation to streamline repetitive tasks, system deployments, and operational processes. Develop, maintain, and improve automation workflows to support server, endpoint, and containerized environments. Automate ITSM workflows, such as user account creation, provisioning, and management through self-service portals. Monitor, test, and troubleshoot automated systems to ensure reliability and efficiency. Collaboration, Documentation, and Continuous Improvement Collaborate with IT teams and business units to support cross-functional projects, system changes, and operational improvements. Document system configurations, processes, operational procedures, and troubleshooting steps to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity. Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies relevant to Windows and endpoint environments. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. 5+ years of experience with Windows Server administration is desirable. Knowledge and experience of: Modern endpoint management and security tools (e.g., Jamf, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, MDM, Apple Business Manager, Microsoft Defender, PatchMyPC, AdminByRequest, Right Click Tools). Active Directory administration, including backup, auditing, and reporting (e.g., Lepide). Identity and access management principles, including lifecycle management and RBAC. IT service management and configuration management databases, including ServiceNow and CMDB. Microsoft Universal Print and enterprise printing environments. Enterprise email delivery and security platforms (e.g., Amazon SES, SendGrid, Abnormal Security). Patch management for Windows servers, automation servers, and endpoint devices. Automation and configuration management using PowerShell, Ansible, and AWX. Containerized workloads and environments. SCCM experience is optional but beneficial. Familiarity with server virtualization concepts (Hyper-V, VMware). Exposure to cloud-based platforms such as Azure AD and Azure infrastructure is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Working Conditions: Normal office environment.
