In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the stability, security, and optimization of our clients' IT infrastructure. You will serve as an escalation point for our service desk, providing expert technical support and resolving complex issues that require advanced troubleshooting skills. This is an hybrid opportunity located in West Palm Beach, Florida. Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for diverse client environments Act as an escalation point for the service desk, resolving complex issues and mentoring junior engineers Proactively monitor client systems to ensure optimal performance and security Design, implement, and manage IT solutions, including network infrastructure, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), Windows Server, and SQL Server Develop and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures Automate tasks and processes using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to improve efficiency Collaborate with engineers and departments to ensure seamless service delivery and process improvements Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and stay updated on cybersecurity and Microsoft technologies Ability to attend quarterly meetings at the main office in Ocala, Florida Skills You’ll Need: 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in a managed services environment Extensive experience with network infrastructure, including firewalls (WatchGuard preferred), routers, switches, and wireless technologies Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, including VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and database management Proven experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and task management Experience with ConnectWise Automate, ConnectWise Manage, and Confluence is highly desirable Next Steps: Quick apply with your resume here Or Get a head start on our application and aptitude testing process here: https://www.ondemandassessment.com/link/index/JB-80QK07JDM?u=1182753
